I saw a video of GCN within the past week - sadly I can't remember where. But he seriously seemed to be hinting around at this - not strong hinting, but not weak either. He was basically saying "Don't give up. Sometimes an issue is being addressed in the background." There's something possibly promising going on...and I hope 2024 is a big part of it. Apparently the Democratic Governors Assoc. is meeting regularly (more than once or twice a week) with state AGs and other legal resources. They're using Signal, and have been keeping this effort very quiet since February. They split into smaller committees to tackle the mountain of problems - a divide and conquer approach.

As you noted, the reasons for rejection were for the suspicious reasons you cited, and most of the names sounded foreign. Many had been Returned Undeliverable like my wife’s, after mine was received at the same address with both legal names on our mailbox. Both mail-in ballots were approved at our correct address, but my wife was targeted for being a female with a Spanish name. When she went to Philadelphia City Hall with her documents and received a new ballot there, we were told by an elections worker than many other voters had the same problem. The woman ahead of us had a Muslim name and complained that her secrecy ballot came already sealed and she couldn’t reseal it without using glue. Other voters likely tried to reseal envelopes, resulting in their being rejected. In PA, Dave McCormick (R) won his US Senate seat by only ~ 15,000 votes! I’m glad more of the population is understanding the peril we have been trying to warn them about for years, and especially over the last year, but what took them so fucking long? Now we’re at the 11th hour and scrambling because so much has been allowed to happen that has made it nearly impossible to stop. Don’t get me wrong, there ARE things that can be done immediately, but those in control of those things are not moving an inch. The SCOTUS and Republicans could stop this cold. We have to think of a way to get around them even if it means breaking the law. They have not been following the law to take us down, so we should not in order to save ourselves. We need our numbers to do this. We need our Democrats in Congress to be with us and do their part. They could at least protest inside the chambers or building. Create blockages in strategic places. Things are so fucked now though, we might all just get arrested and thrown in detention centers. I hope someone can think of real solutions real fast. If nothing else, our states should withold federal taxes for costs related to loss of federal grants approved to help citizens of these states. I have learned that some governors have done this. We also need our law enforcement officers and state National Guard members to resist federal agents who act illegally to threaten our residents. Unfortunately, this parallels the formation of Union and Confederate armies that led to Civil War I. I hope that is not necessary, but, so far, it appears that other options are failing.
